Homelessness Services
HomelessServices
At Their Strength Companionship for Mental Health LLC, we are proud to partner with Theory Approach Inc. on a shared mission to reduce homelessness for individuals and families facing mental health challenges or known diagnoses. Together, we provide supportive services to help families stabilize, build independence, and achieve lasting well-being.
Program Overview:
The Housing Program offered by Theory Approach Inc. is designed to assist families and individuals referred by CPS/FBSS or other social service agencies. This program addresses both mental health and housing needs through comprehensive case management and resources.
Referral Criteria:
To qualify for the Housing Program, the following requirements must be met:
-
A mental health issue, concern, or diagnosis within the family or individual.
-
The parent must have a stable W-2 employer job to achieve full approval.
-
The family must have active insurance or qualify for insurance.
-
Medicaid coverage must be through Texas Children’s Health Plan, Molina, Superior, or Community Health Choice.
-
The family must be open to working with a case manager weekly for mental health and homelessness services.
-
The client cannot be receiving Section 8 or other housing assistance.
-
Clients already receiving mental health services from another agency (e.g., The Harris Center, AOC, Texana Center, or Tri-County) are not eligible for the program.
Important Notes:
-
Referral does not guarantee approval: All referred clients and families must complete a thorough process, including assessments, to determine eligibility for the program.
-
The Housing Program is exclusively referral-based and cannot be accessed through self-referrals. Referrals must come from CPS/FBSS or other social service professionals.
