Our mission is to empower families by cultivating knowledge and awareness through the application of diverse theories and approaches in a client-centered, family-centric, and wraparound manner. We strive to create an environment where families feel valued, supported, and equipped with the necessary tools to enhance their overall well-being. Who We Are!
Welcome to Their Strength Companionships for Mental Health LLC, a black-owned behavioral and mental health agency serving the Houston, Texas community. We are a dedicated team of mental health professionals, including Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs) and Social Workers, committed to providing comprehensive wraparound services for families.
At Their Strength, we meet our clients where they are, tailoring our approach to decrease challenging behaviors and enhance awareness and knowledge about mental health. Our primary goal is to engage families, empowering them to learn, grow, and advocate for themselves. We believe that every individual, regardless of age or background, deserves the opportunity to thrive.

Our services extend to all populations and communities, recognizing the unique needs and challenges they may face. Whether a family is dealing with issues such as homelessness, past abuse, CPS open cases, Family Base Services referrals, intensive behaviors in a child or adult, drug abuse, or difficulties at school or home, Their Strength is here to provide the necessary support. We offer services based on individual needs, with our compassionate and skilled Coaches available to meet clients in their homes, schools, or communities.
Additionally, we understand the importance of collaboration and involvement in key decision-making processes. Our dedicated Coaches attend 504, Family Team Meetings, and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, ensuring that the perspectives and goals of our clients are represented and supported.

At Their Strength, we go beyond traditional mental health services by providing transportation to and from medication appointments, as well as advocating for better understanding within doctor visits. If there are specific needs that we cannot directly address, we have established strong networks to connect clients with the appropriate services.
